De to advisory boards for Bedst for Os

With great commitment, desire, and willingness to improve and develop interventions and treatment for children and young people with mental disorders and mental distress, the members of our two advisory boards made important contributions during the first meetings at the end of February.

The two advisory boards have been established to ensure broad and competent advice at both the national and the international level. The national advisory board consists of representatives from child and adolescent psychiatry in all of the Danish regions, health institutions, and organizations in Denmark, while the international advisory board includes experts from abroad. This division allows us to receive input from both national and global perspectives, which is crucial for developing a model that is compatible with existing national initiatives while also being inspired by international best practices.

The Advisory boards play a key role in the project by advising on strategic decisions, ensuring synergy with other initiatives, and helping to disseminate the project's results. The international advisory board also contributes with advice on international collaboration opportunities, interpretation and analysis of data, and global promotion of the project.

The first meetings of our advisory boards provided a good introduction to the project and its organization, and fruitful discussions on how the advisory board can best support the project moving forward. During the meeting with the national advisory board, a number of issues from the project's work packages were presented with a request for input from the members. The many competent representatives around the table provided good input on how to proceed from here.

We would like to thank all the members of both advisory boards for their valuable contributions and commitment at the first meetings. Their input and feedback are invaluable to the project's progress and success. A big thank you also to the Novo Nordisk Foundation and the Obel Family Foundation for their input and commitment. We look forward to good countinous cooperation with the foundations and advisory boards.
