Evaluating the implementation and impact of Best for Us
The purpose of this work package is to evaluate the implementation of Best for Us and the results of the project.
There is a massive need for improvement in the care and treatment given to children and young people with mental health problems and their families.
The waiting time for a psychiatric assessment is too long, and while they wait there is a risk that their condition will worsen, and some children and adolescents develop additional complications.
Best for Us is established to find solutions that can help these children, young people, and their families.
Over the course of the next five years, Best for Us will work systematically to develop solutions for use in the municipalities, general practices, regional Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, and civil society.
The evaluation in work package 6 will measure the implementation of Best for Us and the impact it has on the levels of both the individual and the family. The socioeconomic value of the project will also be assessed.
Responsible
The overall responsible for work package 1 is Professor Søren Paaske Johnsen, Ph.D., Head of Danish Center for Health Services Research, Aalborg University.
